You are from your father the devil!
by sinis inhas anyone stopped to think what jesus was really saying to the jews?
jesus also says that you have neither seen nor heard him.
well the ot speaks of how the jews on several occassions not only saw gods ass (backside) but also heard him speak.

Elders son is GAY!!!
by Wordly Andre inha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
just looked up my old high school in classmates.com, i saw this dude who was a couple years older than me, didn't really know him but i knew his brother (who left the org the same time i did), his dad kicked him out of the house and he lived in his car, they are sons of one of the elders (assholes) who df'd my dad.
the good son was a good little jw that did everything a jw father (elder) would want his son to do, on his bio on classmates.com he says that he is gay, ha ha ha ha.

How do I get my "lesbian" co-worker to stop discussing her lifestyle?
by booker-t ini work with a young woman in her mid-thirties that is openly lesbian.
we have been friends for about 10 years when she first started working at the company.
i was crazy about her before she came out as "gay" and i still have a good time working with her.

Just like parakeet said TMI works pretty good, other than that when she get pretty graphic just ask for a video, I think she might be just trying to be open with you about it, lesbians are very normal people but she just like anyone just might feel a bit too comfortable talking about her private life. If she was a guy I bet it wouldn't freak you out too much.

When my dad died he left instructions that I was going to pay for the final expenses,
When my grandfather (NonJW) passed away, he left behind an estate worth over 350,000 and since my dad was no longer alive, my brothers and sisters and and I got equal parts of my grandfathers estate, well since my grandfather had 10 kids by the time the money trickled down to me, it was enough to pay me back for what I had spent on my dads cremation, and burial. Funny how things work themselves out huhh

Wasanelder once,
I am of the impression that Wordly Andre was laughing at the fact that the elder's son was gay from the standpoint that it was a disgrace to the elder from the elder's standpoint. I took it as a very positive post by WA because he was showing the irony of this self righteous homophobe's own son becoming what he hates despite all his holier than thou bullship.
Thanks you totally get what I was saying
I am very sorry if I offended anyone, as this was not my intention.
I think in the future I will proof read any of my post, sometimes it can be hard to tell exactly what someone is trying to say.

Did anyone see or do a random act of kindness today?
by okie46 intoday while unloading my groceries, i witnessed a random act of kindness... someone in a ford explorer was waiting for a car to leave a parking spot so they could pull in there, they had been waiting for several minutes when finally the car in that spot backed out and left.
before the person in the ford explorer could pull into the spot, a lady in a ford taurus pulled on into that parking space.
the person in the ford explorer who had been patiently waiting, just sat there, they didn't honk or flip the person off, then the lady in the ford taurus realized that the other vehicle had been waiting for that spot and backed out to find another spot, letting the guy who had been waiting have his spot.

IF YOU COULD GO BACK IN TIME WOULD YOU MARRY YOUR SPOUSE?
by Dansk ini've been thinking a lot about this lately and i would unhesitatingly say 'yes!'.
we've had our ups and downs - almost always my fault .
my god, how our upbringing can affect us!

I went back in time:
The year would be 2004, I was 20 lbs lighter than I am now, I had more money in my pocket than I do now, I worry more now than I did back then, damn I think I had more hair too, but Umm yeah she is the most beautiful girl I ever met, and she is pretty cool too, so yes I would marry her all over again. :-)

raised in the truth?
by bluebeads ini was just wondering what constitutes as being brought up in the truth.
my mom was baptized when i was 7 and my dad got dunked when i was 11. right now i don't really consider myself as being fully raised in the truth because even though i've been going to meetings since i was 6 i just slept/doodled through them.
my mom didn't study with us kids and my dad didn't start the family study until i was 12. i'm turning 20 in a few weeks... i've known life before the truth and it was much bettter, everyone was soo much happier.
